Hello! So for today we will be talking about travel tips in Colombia. I hope you like them:\ Pack Smart for the Weather Colombia’s climate changes quickly depending on the city and altitude. In Bogotá you’ll need to carry a jacket and maybe an umbrella because the weather can shift in minutes. If you’re heading to the coast, lighter clothes and sunscreen will save you from the heat. Move Around Like a Local Public transport is part of the adventure. In Bogotá, the TransMilenio buses get crowded, but they’re efficient and connect most areas. In Medellín, the metro and cable cars are a must-try. If you want more comfort, use apps like DiDi or Uber, or grab a registered taxi. Taste Everything Colombian food is diverse, so don’t just stick to international restaurants. Try bandeja paisa in Medellín, ajiaco in Bogotá, and fish with coconut rice on the coast. WHAT TO DO in Bogota - Colombia

One of the best ways to dive into Bogotá’s everyday life is to play bolirana, a traditional pub game where you toss steel balls to knock down pins — it’s simple, fun, and usually comes with a round of beer. If you’re into sports, you can also join in on a ciclovía every Sunday, when the city closes many streets to cars so people can bike, jog, or skate freely. Go Out at Night Bogotá’s nightlife is something you shouldn’t miss. You can hang out at local bars, dance the night away in clubs, or check out live music venues that feature everything from salsa and vallenato to electronic beats. For a lighter vibe, you can chill out at cafés in Chapinero or Usaquén, where you’ll meet people from all walks of life. Eat and Shop Around Food is another highlight — you can sit down at traditional restaurants to try ajiaco or bandeja paisa, or grab some street food like arepas and empanadas on the go. Bogotá is also full of malls, so you can go shopping across Gran Estación, Andino, or Unicentro, o...

Discover Bogotá: Beyond the Classics When you land in Bogotá, it’s easy to get caught up in the big names like Monserrate and La Candelaria. And honestly, you shouldn’t miss them — one gives you a breathtaking view of the city from above, and the other lets you wander through colorful colonial streets filled with history and art. But Bogotá has so much more to offer once you branch out and check out other corners of the city. Let me walk you through some spots you should definitely look into. If you want to break away from the noise of traffic, Jardín Botánico de Bogotá is the perfect place to slow down. You can stroll around, check out orchids, and take in the beauty of Andean plants that you won’t easily find elsewhere. Another place to stretch out and hang around is Parque Simón Bolívar — Bogotá’s version of Central Park. Locals often meet up here for festivals, jogging, or simply lying down on the grass. Not far away, you can head over to Parque de los Novios, a smaller but very ch...

MY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE Colombia it's a beautiful country. When you set out to explore Colombia, you immediately come across marvelous landscapes that seem to stretch out forever. The country manages to bring together mountains, beaches, deserts and jungles in a way that few other places can. Of course, you can find many places, but today we will be talking about Las Minas de Sal of Zipaquirá. I went there last week with my family, and we had a good time there. When you head down into the Salt Mines of Zipaquirá, you immediately take in the beauty of this underground cathedral carved into salt. As you move through the tunnels, the lights and sculptures really stand out, making the place feel almost magical. You can look around and come across impressive crosses and chambers that have been carefully designed. The history of the mines also comes through, showing how generations of workers managed to keep up the traditions while turning the site into a cultu...
