MY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE

Colombia it's a beautiful country. When you set out to explore Colombia, you immediately come across marvelous landscapes that seem to stretch out forever. The country manages to bring together mountains, beaches, deserts and jungles in a way that few other places can. Of course, you can find many places, but today we will be talking about Las Minas de Sal of Zipaquirá. I went there last week with my family, and we had a good time there.

When you head down into the Salt Mines of Zipaquirá, you immediately take in the beauty of this underground cathedral carved into salt. As you move through the tunnels, the lights and sculptures really stand out, making the place feel almost magical.

You can look around and come across impressive crosses and chambers that have been carefully designed. The history of the mines also comes through, showing how generations of workers managed to keep up the traditions while turning the site into a cultural treasure.

Many visitors point out that the silence and atmosphere bring about a sense of peace, making the experience unforgettable. By the time you come back up to the surface, you’ll definitely hold on to the memory of this unique place.
